(1) Purpose:
This equipment is suitable for testing the ability of optical cables to withstand mechanical twisting. By applying forward and reverse twisting forces, qualified optical cables require that the optical fibers do not break, the attenuation changes of the optical fibers do not exceed the values specified in the detailed specifications of the optical cable products, the optical cable sheath does not crack, and the cable core components are not damaged.
